Permanent Jewellery

Friendship bracelets just got a major glow-up. With our new permanent jewellery service, you can have a bracelet or anklet welded in place and keep it there - permanently. Or at least until you really, seriously change your mind.

So, what is permanent jewellery?

So, what is permanent jewellery?

Permanent jewellery is custom-fitted and professionally soldered for a seamless, clasp-free finish.

You choose a bracelet or anklet from our range of delicate (but deceptively tough) gold-filled chains. We make sure it’s a perfect fit on you. Then your permanent piece is carefully soldered on.

No more losing your favourite bracelet in the back of an Uber. With a glittering piece of permanent jewellery, you can wake up fully accessorised and ready to dazzle.

FAQ's

Can you remove permanent jewellery?

Your permanent bracelet or anklet will need to be removed with a specialist cutter - come back to us and we’ll remove it safely for you.

How long does permanent jewellery last?

As long as you’d like it to! It depends a little on the thickness of the chain you choose and how hard you wear your jewellery – if you’re frequently sweating it out at the gym, swimming, climbing up mountains and so on, you may not still be wearing your welded bracelet in your nineties. But we’ll do our best!

How much does permanent jewellery cost?

Our gold bracelets and anklets cost from £40 – £70.

Is permanent jewellery safe?

Perfectly! It’s like other pieces of jewellery, just permanently on. Of course, if you have an allergy to any metals like nickel, gold, or silver, it may not be for you, as you can’t simply take the piece off if your skin is irritated by it – you’d have to come back to us to have it removed.

Does permanent jewellery fade or tarnish?

Our permanent jewellery is gold-filled, which means it has a thick layer of real gold over a base metal, making it more durable than gold-plated jewellery.

Does permanent jewellery ever come off?

The welding process fixes the chain in place so it will only come off if it’s cut off.

What are the downsides of permanent jewellery?

The only downside is that if you want to change your look, you need to have the piece cut off. Which we can do, no problem at all.

Can I get an MRI with permanent jewellery?

For any MRI scans or surgery, we recommend having the piece removed, as we cannot guarantee it won't have small traces of iron or nickel, which could cause heating or pulling in the MRI scan. We can remove the piece for you and re-attach it once your scan or surgery is over.

Will my permanent jewellery set off the metal detector at airports?

It’s unlikely – most airport metal detectors use magnets, so non-magnetic metals are less likely to be picked up.
