Founded in 2019 by Jordan Woodhams, WatchStatus’ business model initially sourced designer arm candy at the best possible prices. As our playful but always professional reputation grew, so did our connections and we expanded our sought-after product range to include epic, designer sunglasses in 2020. 

By 2022, we’d made a splash and world-renowned fashion brands began to recognise our dedication to the finest-quality accessories and excellent customer service, approaching us directly to become their authorised stockists. Once we’d got a secretary to answer all the calls, we knew we’d cemented our status as a leading retailer of designer accessories.

Status with sparkle – DiamondStatus launches

WatchStatus’ success set the stage for even greater ambitions and in 2024, we expanded our vision and launched Clear Diamonds Ltd. Offering ethical, beautiful, lab-grown diamonds that are identical in composition to mined diamonds – and we mean exactly the same, down to the last atom – but free from ethical concerns: sustainable sparklers that’ll inspire gasps as you pass by.

When three become one 

Clear Diamonds quickly became DiamondStatus, and soon our three brands – WatchStatus, ShadeStatus and DiamondStatus – were united under the one name Status Group. 

And now, with the launch of our first bricks-and-mortar, come-in-and-say-hi store in Horsham, West Sussex, we’re making the next big leap forward – truly elevating our status, you could say.
